Rain? What rain! The Hanover Blue Flames turned a soggy Sunday into a celebration, beating Millburn 3-1 in a U10 performance that had a little bit of everything — goals, grit, and goalkeeping heroics.
The Goal-Scoring Trio did the damage. Ben found the net! Jackson found the net! And Lukas found the net! Three Flames, three goals, and a whole lot of cheering from the Hanover sideline.
And when Millburn pushed back, the Brick Wall Duo answered. Nino and Bryce shared the job in goal, stood tall between the posts in the rain, and guarded the Flames' lead like it was treasure.
STARS OF THE GAME — Ben, Jackson and Lukas, our Goal-Scoring Trio. Nino and Bryce, the Brick Wall Duo. And the entire Blue Flames squad — our official Rain Warriors — who played their hearts out from the first whistle to the last.
Wins are wonderful, but days like this are the ones kids remember: muddy socks, big smiles, and a team photo with the whole crew and their coaches. Three cheers for the Blue Flames!
